I carried out these 3 months of training course near the general practitioner in an establishment welcoming mentally deficient children. Indeed, one of my objective was the installation of health education actions, near a population directly. Thanks to the help of the various professionals, and a diagnosis realized as a preliminary, I managed two actions: one relative to sexuality and another relative to dental hygiene. Thus, I tried as well as possible to adapt my actions to deficiencies of the youngs and their level of comprehension. A final evaluation enabled me to note the impact of my actions near the youngs, in particular a modification of their behavior in their everyday life, but also to analyze positive and negative points with the professionals. Moreover, I had the occasion to discover the functionning of a medico-social establishment and the work of the various professionals. This experimence enabled me to make better and obtain a better methodology, but also to acquire experimence within a population to which it is a prime necessity to adapt me and adapt supports and language. I also acquired assurance and finally the desire to work near this population.
